We have had the craziest weather lately. Today is warm (65F) but windy so I decided to wear an all quilted outfit. I paired a quilted vest with a black turtleneck and my vintage gold quilted skirt, last seen here. I really love the look of the two quilted pieces together. What do you think of this outfit? Would you pair a quilted top and bottom together?
This quilted skirt I bought online at a consignment sight and recently stumbled across another one for sale here. I had this skirt tailored because I’m short, so the original version would be about 3 to 4 inches longer and would look amazing on someone taller. To the vest I also added a vintage brooch for that something extra. Though if you are going to place a brooch on a quilted piece make sure to stick the pin through a seam. That way you don’t run the risk of making a small hole in the material - a lesson I've learned in the past :)

DeleteI am not sure if a quilted bottom would look on me, as my lower half is always quite padded on it´s own, but I do own a burgundy quilted vest that I enjoy when it is very windy outside.
