I was never a huge fan of the turtleneck under a dress trend until I put these two together. I think it is the thin silky texture of the turtleneck paired with the embossed texture of the dress that really makes this outfit work. I paired this with a vintage necklace that was my grandmother's and some old strappy Manolos.
Dress: Asos (old.) Turtleneck: Intimissimi.
Have you ever worn a turtleneck under a dress? Do you think this combination works?

What a very elegant dress! It's quite interesting how you styled the dress with a white top. Looking great :) Thanks for the share

ReplyDeleteThank you Gemma :)
DeleteI have and I really think it works if the materials compliment each other. My only problem is that my strapless dresses never seem to stay up when I wear them...

I have that problem too. This ones stays put because the waist is pretty tight, but when I wear it without a shirt I need to wear a majorly padded bra :)
DeleteWhat a beautiful dress! And pairing it with a turtle neck underneath definitely takes a summer dress into fall.

It looks really interesting and intriguing. But I think that it could be used only for some rare occasions like parties or something like that.
ReplyDeleteThis image looks quite original because of this combination of the dress and the turtleneck. These colors are matched quite well. The attired is perfect for an evening stroll.
