Belted Mini and Lace Top


I just love this belted skirt for a casual look.  It's made of a heavy jean material, which is great for the months to come.  I paired it with a white top with lace detail and sandals since it's still quite warm today.  I just love the detail in this top which I found a few years ago in a vintage shop.   These pearl earrings were my grandmother's and are clip on, which is all I've been wearing at the moment.  I guess that's just because I'm addicted to vintage pieces.  To me they seem to have a certain chic and classy feel.
Top: Vintage similar here.  Skirt:  Ralph Lauren love this new one at Zara.  Sandals:  Sam Edelman.

These sandals are a bit wild for this outfit, but I love them since they are tall wedges which for me equals much needed height and they are easy to walk in.

    Are wedges really that much easier to walk in? I never really tried, but they seem to be so heavy...

      These are quite light and are very easy to walk in. It's funny though because I recently purchased a pair of flatforms that I thought would be even easier on my feet. I ended up tripping over them about 5 times the first night I wore them.

      I have stopped wearing heels when I got pregnant the first time, so I am horribly out of practice!
