A pastel striped dress paired with a plaid bag creates a fun Spring outfit.
These photos were taken over the weekend when I wasn’t feeling to well due to allergies. As I was editing them I noticed my face is quite puffy, and a quote from a blog that I read last night popped into my head, “fashion is more about attitude than the clothes.” And that is so true. The outfit here usually looks amazing when I’m feeling normal, but because I wasn’t feeling to swift it didn’t look good in many of the photos. It was also a bit chilly out so I added a sweater under the dress and then topped it with a statement necklace to further bring out the colours. What do you think of this outfit? Do you think fashion is an attitude rather than the actual clothing?

DeleteI think it works both ways. I feel that many items of clothing have a personality of their own, but their vibe may change depending on other items we pair them with. Every outfit can be seen as a statement, a collection of various pieces yet what matters most is how we wear it. It is us that give it a finishing touch. Our vibe is the most dominant one and can change any item of clothing and make every outfit a winning one.
ReplyDeleteI was feeling a bit puffy today as well. I had 3 dentist appointments in two days, but once my face wasn't swollen, I feel much better in the outfit I was wearing. Spring can be both wonderful and tiresome (many struggle with a feeling of tiredness during Spring and I experienced the same at the beggining of the month). You look lovely in this photographs, I didn't notice any puffiness but I noticed that you weren't smiling.
This is a very feminine and stylish outfit. That dress is magnificent. I'm very keen on stripes! Plus, I really like how you styled this dress with a top under. The necklace and the sandals with high heels finish this look beautifully! Such a gorgeous styling!!! I love your dressed up sense of style. It is very refreshing in the sea of casual chic outfits one sees every day (not that I don't like those, but it is nice to see more lady like ones for a change).
