Believe it or not there was a time when I would never wear an outfit like this.
My entire wardrobe consisted of almost all black pieces, no light colours, and hardly any jeans. That’s when I was working in NYC. Then I moved to the south, got married, and everything changed, including my wardrobe. It is now full of colour, texture, and happy memories. These jeans are very vintage Levis that I used to wear when my husband and I were first dating (over 10 yrs ago.) I pulled them out today and was excited to see that they still fit. I paired them with a white turtleneck, a lavander mohair cardigan last seen here, and my favourite gold glitter mary janes.What do you think of this look? Do you have items that you haven’t worn in over 10 years? Are there pieces in your closet that hold happy memories?

DeleteI have a lot of pieces in my wardrobe that are older than ten years (some t-shirts, mostly) and that hold a lot of memories, but I don't think I´d ever fit into a pair of jeans I wore 10 years ago ever again. At the moment I wouldn't even fit into a pair of jeans I wore ten months ago, but I hope that is only temporary.

DeleteGotta love good quality jeans - especially Levi's. I know they're an expensive brand but they're such good quality that they're worth the money exactly because they'll last you years. They're lovely. And like you, I used to wear really dark colours but that has changed throughout the years!
