It’s not often that I wear a hat.
When I do it’s usually because it’s raining, windy, or my hair is just not cooperating. Today is no exception. It’s windy and my hair decided to frizz this morning. So instead of fighting it I planned my outfit around this hat. I decided to pair it with a brown blazer with ruffle trim, a black sweater, jeans, and black boots. To my surprise it came out quite nice. What do you think of this outfit? Do you ever have days when you feel like you just need to wear a hat?
Hat: London Fog (very old) Love this Updated Version. Blazer: Jcrew (old) Similar Blazer. Sweater: Sisely (old.) Shoes: BCBG.

DeleteYour hair not cooperating? If you had an African hair like mine it wouldn't cooperate everyday and you would live in hats. I wear hats when it's sunny. Matching the hat, the boots and the sweater was a perfect idea because black matches everything. The brown jacket adds pizzazz!! Lili, your hair in a frizzy state is still so much better than my best hair days! LOL! I don't wear much hats but if ever I am having a bad hair day then I'll tied my hair in a low knot. Simple, easy and at least I look presentable.
