Happy New Year! This year I hope to accomplish many things, but the main one is to be more organized. Here are my resolutions for 2016.
#1 Take Pictures Ahead of Time and Actually Post Them.
My bad habit is to not post the pictures I've taken in a timely fashion. For instance I took these at Christmas in Palm Beach but never made a post. This year I will post at least 3x's a week.
#2 Clean out my Closets.
I have a hard time getting rid of things, especially those with sentimental value. This year I plan on donating a lot of items that I haven't worn in years.
#3 Post on Instagram.
I don’t have a smart phone (I know it’s awful) but I really love the phone I have. I used my husband’s phone to take some pictures so that I can eventually post them on instagram, which I will do this month.
#4 Spread More Love.
By this I mean doing something selfless for someone else such a volunteering at a homeless shelter, or pet shelter. Cooking for someone who may need food, or any other act of kindness that would spread loving energy.

ReplyDeleteYour closet looks very colorful and organized already, mine is very grey/black/denim with some pops of red in comparison. But I understand the problem of keeping stuff you no longer wear out of sentimental reasons, I am guilty of that too.

Thanks Anne. I try to keep everything organized, but I'm out of room and have some things in large tubs in the back of the closets. Many things are from my mom who passed in 2005 and other things I've thought were "cute" over the years :)

These are some great resolutions! I love the idea of committing to the idea of spreading love more! I like when people focus on bettering themselves, but I LOVE when they can achieve that while also helping others :) Your closets look so organised! I would love for mine to look as put together ;)

Thank you Erin. There really needs to be more love in the world. If each person would do something, just one nice thing it would make it a better place. That is one of the things that I really liked when you wrote about your community. It seems like such a wonderful place to live.

Very nice goals Lili, You look so pretty on the pic at the top next to the Christmas tree. You have a huge wardrobe! It looks like a treasure trove of goodies but I agree there is no point in keeping things that you do not wear! I clean out all the time so actually have a very small wardrobe. Have a great 2016.
