Party Outfit - Pink and Black

I just love dressing up for the holidays.  Today I'm wearing a cocktail party outfit with a colourful sequin top and bright pink skirt.  The top was given to me by a friend years ago, and it's embellished with fun geometric shaped sequins in all different colours.  I decided to pair it with a pink midi skirt which I think matches the sequins quite well even though it's not exactly a winter holiday colour.  What do you think?

      Thank you Gemma. I don't often have an occasion to dress up for either, maybe once or twice a year at the most. But somehow I've accumulated all these pieces for that "time I'll need something fancy to wear," haha.

    I rarely wear pink, because it looks like Barbie on me, but I love the look you chose. Your dark hair against the sparkle and the pink is eye-catching! And I couldn´t help myself but laugh when I saw the palm tree looking like an extravagant head piece in the first two pictures.

      haha! That is too funny about the palm tree - it looks so "Carry Brashaw!" I didn't even realize it until I read your comment. I couldn't stop laughing!! And I felt a bit like Barbie here - I had a full face of makeup on, which makes my face look so much better in pictures! Unfortunately the next day my face was covered in tiny bumps, but so worth it :)
