How to Wear a Long Vest

Long vests have become popular lately and can be worn with almost anything from skinny jeans to short dresses.  Today I paired one of my favourite long faux fur vests with a thin turtleneck, skinny jeans, and grey suede boots.


Vest: Vintage DVF, Similar Here.. Turtleneck: Intimissimi.  Jeans: Paige Denim..  Boots: Sam Elderman (old) Similar Here.

Normally I wear this vest belted with either a dress or skirt with tights and high boots.  To make it more modern I decided to pair it with jeans and leave it unbelted.  I really love the way it turned out, what do you think?  Do you like wearing a long vest?

    For the first time ever reading your blog I ca proud say: Yes, I have worn something like this before actually! I feel so fashionable right now... My long vest is a forest green knit version that I enjoy pairing with brown boots, skinny jeans and a white turtle neck underneath.

    I love this look! I really like the idea of long vests, I'm just not sure about them on me, haha! That said, I haven't even seen them available in stores at this point, so I can't really try it out. Maybe one day ;)

      I thought the same thing since I'm only 5' 2", but the heels on the boots make up for it :)
