Black and Blue

I love the combination of black and blue.  Here I'm wearing a thin powder blue sweater that I normally don't layer over anything since it is so thin.  But today I wanted to try something new and decided to pair it with a basic button down and a printed black and white scarf.

With this pleated mini I usually wear low heeled mary janes or sandals.  So I decided to experiment with socks and booties, which is a look I'm starting to love.  What do you think of this combination?  Is it something you would wear?
Sweater: Ann Taylor (old)  Similar here.  White Button Down: Banana Republic.  Scarf:  Vintage Valentino Similar Here.  Skirt:  BCBG.

      Thank you Gemma - that is such a nice compliment. I'm always self conscious about my legs because I feel like my knees are very knobby and wrikled :)

    Oh, all kinds of new things for you! I love the look, and would definitely wear it :) Or - I would consider wearing it, haha! We have different body types so I'm not sure about how it would look on me, but in theory I would wear it, haha! Also, I love that powder blue with the white and black, it adds that extra something!

    I like the layered look, but I never really got into the socks and boots thing. Maybe I feel too old to try it? But the powder blue against the black skirt looks lovely.
