3 Ways to Layer a Basic White Turtleneck

My favorite go to item lately has been my basic white turtleneck.  It's been the perfect layering piece to experiment with.  Here are three fun ways I've found to layer this piece.



Under a Dress
Under a sleeveless dress and topped with a sweater is perfect when the weather is unpredictable.  Here I threw a red cardigan over my shoulders to bring out the red in the dress.  A black blazer would even work well with this outfit.  Layered under a strapless dress as I posted here turns a summer staple into a winter look.


Under a Short Sleeved Polo
This is one of my favorite ways to wear this turtleneck.  It gives an extra dimension to several short sleeve outfits that I would normally wear during the warmer months.
Under a Jean Shirt

    I layer almost everything with my black or white long sleeve, as I am no longer able to close most of my shirts. The only turtleneck I own is short-sleeved, but I think I need to invest in a long-sleeve one. Great for the colder season.

      Such a great idea to layer so you can wear the button downs when you're expecting. I always thought I would have to buy a whole new wardrobe, which I don't mind, but my husb might :)

    I love the turtle neck under the dress! It gives life to dresses better suited for warmer months, or it can make a dress a touch more appropriate for the work place. Plus it looks cute :)
